TO DARLING!!

This post is going to be mushy and even more mushy. But for her, it would be written.

The girl in question, Miss Low Shumin.

Apparently, I have managed to generate enough interest within myself to start a new hobby. Loving her.

The way that she has always called me names, ranging from the usual ‘dear’, ‘darling’ to the more exotic, ‘baobei’, ‘baby’, ‘dar dar’.

The way her head always manages to find the right spot in my shoulder. The way she grabs my hand and refuses to let go. The way hugs me on the long bus rides. The willingness to assure me that her love is true.

The way she is proud of me and willing to bring me to visit her parents. The way she is proud of me enough to tell me to her friends. The way she is not shy to hold my hands in public to show the world that we are together.

The way she is willing to always share costs, and the way she looks at me with her marvelous brown eyes. The way she once again assures me that she wants me to be with her.

The way she frets about what to wear when she visits my parents, the way she worries that my parents do not like her.

The way we share so many things in common, such as the love of bread.

And the way, she tells me, every single day, every single time, “dear, I love you.”

And now, it is my turn, to let her know.

Darling, I love you too.
